The Area
The Estate is situated in Kavala region and positioned on the main national road network, just 40 km from Kavala and 120 km from Thessaloniki, close to 3 others cities.
Defensive Wall of Kavala
The castle was completely destroyed in 1391 by the Turks and was rebuilt by the Ottomans in 1425. What we see today is mostly the result of that reconstruction.
Kasta Tomb
Also known as the Amphipolis Tomb is a recently discovered tomb dated to the last quarter of the 4th century B.C. The excavation team, based on findings unearthed at the site, argued that the tomb was a memorial dedicated to the close friend of Alexander the Great, Hephaestion.
Philippi Palace and Amphitheater.
The archaeological site of Philippi, a UNESCO world heritage since 2016, is located in Krinides, 15km from Kavala and is one of the most important historical sites in the area.
Pangaion mountain
Located approximately 40 km from Kavala. The highest elevation is 1,956 m and has its own history in mythology and religion.

Certified by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) using standards for water quality, safety, environmental education and information, the provision of services and general environmental management criteria.
Nestos River and National Park
Nestos is one of the longest rivers in Greece. There are adventures/thematic excursions which rent canoes to explore the river and the nature. Also, visitors can do off road 4x4, horse riding and birdwatching. The Nestos National Park is part of the Natura 2000 network. “The Straits of Nestos”, meaning a river trip of 17km that have been characterized as an Aesthetic Forest covered by specific requirements for protection.
